How to Get a Complete Pokedex on Pokemon Sapphire

Completing a Pokedex on Pokemon Sapphire

For anyone who has never played one of the Pokemon games before, a pokedex is a player’s collection of Pokemon that is available for them to use in a battle. Every Pokemon game features new Pokemon. The video game Pokemon Sapphire for Nintendo has 202 available Pokemon that you can collect and add to your pokedex. There are only two ways to get a complete pokedex. The first way is to have a cheat code. This code, which can be found at numerous game sites across the internet, will give you the total number of Pokemon in the game plus more. But cheating at video games is not for everyone. Some players like the challenge of making it through without a cheat code. The only other way to get a complete pokedex is to do it the hard way; play the game through.

There is no award that you get for completing a pokedex. There are no bells and whistles and nothing special happens. Having a complete pokedex is the reward itself because it allows you to draw on a wider number of Pokemon to do battle with. So how do you get a complete pokedex for Pokemon Sapphire? Below is a list of all the available Pokemon from the game and their locations of where they can be found or how to find them.
